The Bearer of the Qur’ān is the Flag Bearer of Islām

The Ḥuffāẓ are among the most honoured people in the sight of Allāh. Rasūlullāh ﵜ described them as the “special people of Allāh” — those who carry His divine word in their hearts. This title comes with immense privilege and an equally profound responsibility.

At Iqra Hifz Academy, we believe that becoming a Ḥāfiẓ should not mean choosing between deen and dunya. Our program is thoughtfully structured so students can pursue excellent academic education in the morning and dedicate their afternoon and evening hours to the blessed path of Ḥifẓ.

“As long as the Qur’ān remains in our hearts, Allāh will look after us in this world and the Hereafter.”

— Shaykhul-Ḥadīth Mawlānā Muhammad Saleem Dhorat ḥafiẓahullāh

Our teachers bring dedicated experience in Qur’ān instruction, revision, and student mentorship. This is not just a school — it is a lifelong spiritual investment for your child.

A Complete Islamic Education

Beyond memorization, we nurture well-rounded Muslims equipped with knowledge, character, and the understanding to live by the Qur’ān’s teachings throughout their lives.

01

Ḥifẓul Qur’ān

Full memorization of the Noble Qur’ān with proper tajwīd (correct pronunciation). Students work through new lessons and systematic daily revision under expert teachers with 20+ years experience.

02

Tajwīd & Qirā’at

Mastery of the rules of Quranic recitation. The Qur’ān must be recited as it was revealed — every letter and its pronunciation preserved and passed on through an unbroken chain of transmission.

03

Aadaab wal Akhlaaq

Character building at the core of every lesson. We cultivate the noble manners and etiquette befitting a bearer of the Qur’ān — the very qualities that distinguished the ṣaḥābah and the pious predecessors.

04

Quranic Arabic

Building an understanding of the Arabic language of the Qur’ān so students can connect deeply with what they memorize — enabling them to recite with comprehension and reflection.

05

Fiqh of Ṣalāh

A thorough grounding in the rulings of prayer — the pillar of Islām. Students learn how to pray correctly, understand what they are saying, and develop a strong, lifelong bond with ṣalāh.

06

Sīrah & Islamic History

Stories of the Prophet ﵜ, the ṣaḥābah, and the pious predecessors to inspire and motivate students. These are the role models whose deep connection to the Qur’ān lights the path forward.

“Those dedicated to the Qur’ān are truly the friends of Allāh and His special ones. The bearer of the Glorious Qur’ān is the flag bearer of Islām.”

Rasūlullāh ﵜ as narrated by Imām Aḥmad

🌟

6,000+ Star Status

On the Day of Qiyāmah, the Ḥāfiẓ will be told: “Read and ascend.” Each verse recited elevates him to a higher level of Jannah. A complete Ḥāfiẓ will reach the highest station — more than 6,000 levels of Paradise.

👑

A Crown for Parents

The parents of a Ḥāfiẓ will be dressed in a crown of light on the Day of Judgement, whose radiance surpasses that of the sun. There is no greater gift a child can give their family.

🛡

Guardians of Revelation

The Ḥuffāẓ are the living miracle of Islām — thousands of hearts carrying every verse, even if all written copies were lost. Your child becomes part of an unbroken chain stretching back to the Prophet ﵜ himself.

📖

20+ Years of Teaching Expertise

Our teachers are not just qualified — they are seasoned, patient, and deeply passionate about nurturing each student individually. Two decades of experience means they’ve mastered how to help every type of learner reach their potential.

🕌

Rooted in Experience & Care

Our program is guided by teachers who understand the journey of Qur’ān memorization and retention, with a strong focus on consistency, discipline, encouragement, and care for each student’s progress.

💡

Motivation-Centered Learning

We believe that successful Ḥifẓ begins with a heart that loves the Qur’ān. Throughout the program, students are regularly reminded of the honor, responsibility, and immense reward of becoming among the people of the Qur’ān. By nurturing sincerity, confidence, and a sense of purpose, we help students stay motivated through every stage of their memorization journey.

🌿

Character First — Always

We believe a Ḥāfiẓ should be special in every way — in conduct, in prayer, in dealings with others. Our Aadaab wal Akhlaaq curriculum ensures students grow into role models worthy of the Qur’ān they carry.

🔄

Structured Daily Revision System

Memorising the Qur’ān is only the beginning. True success lies in preserving it for life. Our program places equal emphasis on structured daily revision, combining para sabaq, manzil, and independent review to develop confident, lifelong Ḥuffāẓ.

Everything You Need to Know

This program is ideally suited for students between the ages of 7–16 who are already enrolled in an online school or homeschool program. Since online and homeschool classes typically conclude by mid-morning, our 12:30 PM start allows students to finish their academic schooling before joining us. Traditional school students may also apply depending on their schedule — please reach out to discuss.
The Ḥifẓ program runs Monday through Friday, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM. This gives students approximately 4.5 dedicated hours per day in a structured, focused environment. The schedule includes Sabaq, Para Sabaq, Ẓuhr Ṣalāh, Islamic Studies/Qur’ān Understanding, and a dedicated two-hour revision block.
Completion time varies by student — most students complete their Ḥifẓ in 2.5 to 4 years, depending on age, prior Quranic foundation, and individual pace. Our program does not rush students; we prioritise quality, retention, and understanding over speed. Every student progresses according to their own blessed journey.
A basic ability to read Arabic (Nāẓirah) is required before beginning the Ḥifẓ program. Students who are not yet at this level can enrol in our foundational Quranic reading class to build this skill before transitioning into the full Ḥifẓ program. Please contact us to arrange an assessment.
Absolutely not — in fact, the opposite tends to be true. Research and experience both show that students engaged in Ḥifẓ develop exceptional memory, discipline, and focus that benefit their academic studies significantly. Our program is specifically built to complement academic schooling, not compete with it. Morning hours are fully available for online or homeschool academics.
We maintain small class sizes to ensure every student receives individual attention during their lesson (Sabaq) time. Our teachers listen to each student’s portion personally every day. We believe one-on-one attention is not a luxury — it is a necessity for quality Ḥifẓ education.
Students receive a well-rounded Islamic education including: Tajwīd (rules of Quranic recitation), Aadaab wal Akhlaaq (Islamic character and manners), Quranic Arabic (understanding the language of the Qur’ān), Fiqh of Ṣalāh (rulings of prayer), and selected topics from Sīrah (Prophetic biography) and Islamic history.
Motivation is built into our daily approach. Students are continually reminded of the virtues of the Qur’ān, encouraged through positive reinforcement, and guided with realistic goals that allow them to experience steady progress. We believe that when students understand the honor of carrying the Qur’ān and experience consistent success, they naturally develop the desire to continue their journey.
Forgetting is a natural part of the Ḥifẓ journey. The Prophet ﵜ likened the Qur’ān to a camel — if you tend to it, it stays with you; if you let it go, it escapes. Our revision system is specifically designed to prevent this through structured daily revision. Students who struggle receive additional targeted support, and we communicate openly with parents to ensure consistent practice at home.
Tuition is $350 per month for one student. Families with two siblings enrolled receive a discounted rate of $325 per month per student, and families with three siblings enrolled receive a discounted rate of $300 per month per student.
We maintain an open-door policy with parents. Regular progress updates are shared, and our teachers are accessible for parent communication. We strongly believe that Ḥifẓ is a family journey — when parents are involved, engaged, and encouraging at home, students thrive exponentially. Parents receive guidance on how to support evening revision effectively.
